Pathways & Driveways

The first thing they see, built to last the longest.

Paver and natural stone driveways, walkways, garden paths, and cut stone steps, each one engineered from the grade and the base up. The approach sets the tone for the whole property, and ours are built to carry the load and hold their line for decades. Serving North Metro Atlanta as a full design build team, with our own stone studio cutting custom pieces to size.

Arrival

The driveway and the path are the handshake of the property.

The approach is the first thing anyone sees and the last thing they walk before the door. Done right, it sets the tone for everything beyond it. Done cheaply, it cracks, ruts, and dates the whole property.

A driveway also carries weight no patio ever will. We shoot the grade, draw real grading and drainage plans, and engineer a base built for vehicle loads, then set pavers or our own cut to size natural stone on a foundation that holds.

The result is an approach that stays flat, drains right, and looks as intentional as the home it leads to.

What We Build

Six ways we shape the approach.

Every driveway and path is custom, designed for your home, your grade, and the way you arrive.

Paver Driveways

Premium paver driveways engineered for vehicle loads, with the borders and patterns to match the home.

Natural Stone and Cobblestone Driveways

Cut stone and cobble for a timeless, high end approach that only improves with age.

Walkways and Garden Paths

Front walks and garden paths in pavers or natural stone that guide the eye and the foot through the property.

Natural Stone Steps and Stairs

Cut to size stone treads and stairs fabricated in our own studio, solid and built to last.

Permeable Driveways and Paths

Permeable systems that let water through and manage runoff, often easing drainage and stormwater requirements.

Motor Courts and Aprons

Parking courts, turnarounds, and entry aprons sized and detailed for how you actually arrive.

Beneath The Surface

A driveway carries weight a patio never will.

Cars put real, repeated load on the ground. The base, the grade, and the drainage are what keep a driveway from cracking, rutting, and settling, and they are the part most installers cut short.

Grading and Drainage Plans

Real plans for site grade and water so the surface drains and water never undermines it.

Engineered Base for Vehicle Loads

A deeper, heavier base and proper compaction built to carry cars, not just feet.

Structural Engineering

Slopes, retaining, and permeable systems engineered for the loads, soil, and code.

Critical Project Deliverables

Designed, engineered, and built to hold.

A complete, build ready package so the approach is right on paper before the first cut into the ground.

3D Design Visualization

See the driveway, walks, and materials against your home before anything is excavated.

02

Grading and Drainage Plans

Real plans for site grade and water management so drainage is solved, not hoped for.

03

Base and Sub-Base Specification

A vehicle rated foundation spec'd by depth and material so it is built to carry the load.

04

Custom Stone Fabrication

Natural stone steps, treads, and pavers cut to size in our own studio.

05

Materials and Paver Schedule

Pavers, stone, and finishes specified by name so bids are exact and the look is locked.

06

Structural Engineering

Slopes, retaining, and permeable systems engineered for the loads, soil, and code.

Investment Protection

Financial Insurance for Your Approach

A driveway is one of the largest hardscapes on the property and the one that takes the most abuse. Engineering the base, the grade, and the drainage correctly from the start is what keeps it flat, dry, and uncracked for decades.

Built for Vehicle Loads

A base engineered for cars so the driveway stays flat instead of cracking and rutting within a few years.

Water Managed, Not Ignored

Grading and drainage solved up front so water never undermines the approach or runs back toward the home.

Built to Last in Stone

Pavers and natural stone set to last for decades, not a poured surface that fades, stains, and cracks.

One Accountable Team

Design, stonework, engineering, and construction under one plan, with one place to look when a question comes up.

Bidding Precision, Zero Surprises

Detailed plans and a named materials schedule give contractors something exact to bid against.

Capital Allocation

Investment expectations for the approach.

Custom driveway and pathway projects begin at $70,000. Final pricing scales with the square footage, the material, paver or natural stone, the base depth the vehicle loads require, and the grading, drainage, and steps the site calls for.

As part of a larger outdoor living build, the approach is designed alongside the patios, walls, and planting so the grading and base are planned for the whole property at once.

Our Scope Determinants

  • Square footage and length
  • Pavers or natural stone
  • Base depth for vehicle loads
  • Grading and drainage scope
  • Steps, stairs, and walls
  • Structural engineering and permits

Clear Answers

Frequently asked questions about driveways and paths.

Can pavers really handle the weight of cars?

Yes, when they are set over the right base. A driveway needs a deeper, heavier, properly compacted base than a patio. Built that way, a paver driveway carries vehicle loads for decades and, unlike poured concrete, individual units can be lifted and reset if anything ever needs attention.

Why does the base matter so much for a driveway?

The base is what carries the cars. An undersized or rushed base is the reason driveways crack, rut, and settle. We spec the sub base by depth and material for the load and compact it properly so the surface stays flat.

Do you handle grading and drainage?

Yes. We shoot the site grade and draw real grading and drainage plans so water moves off the driveway and away from the home rather than pooling or running back toward it.

What is a permeable driveway, and do I need one?

A permeable driveway lets water pass through the surface into a stone reservoir below instead of running off. It is a clean way to manage stormwater and can help satisfy runoff requirements. We will tell you whether your site calls for one.

Should I choose pavers or natural stone?

Pavers offer a wide range of patterns and a proven system at a strong value. Natural stone and cobble, cut to size in our own studio, give a timeless, one of a kind approach. We walk you through the look, durability, and budget of each.

Do you build the steps and stairs too?

Yes. Natural stone steps and stair treads are cut to size in our own studio and built into the approach as solid, lasting pieces rather than stacked units.

Can I use my own builder with your design?

Yes. You can use our turnkey team and stone studio, or take our engineered design, grading plans, and materials schedule to your own qualified builder.
