Fire Features
Fire is what keeps people outside after the sun goes down.
Custom fire pits in natural stone or modern precast, standing fireplaces, fire bowls, and complete fire pit areas with seat walls and furniture, each one built around how you gather. Fire gives the yard warmth and a focal point that extends the evening and the season, and draws everyone in around it. Serving North Metro Atlanta as a full design build team, with design only options available.
Request a Design ConsultationWarmth and Gathering
The feature that turns a patio into a place people linger.
People gather around fire. It pulls everyone to one spot, stretches the evening past sunset, and adds the months on either end of the season when the air turns cool. Of everything in the yard, it is the feature that gets used the most.
The difference between a fire feature that anchors a space and one that feels like an afterthought is in the scale, the materials, and how it is built into everything around it. We cut the stone in house and engineer the firebox, chimney, footings, and gas so it draws clean, lights easily, and lasts.
Whether you want the crackle of a wood fire or the clean convenience of gas at the push of a button, we design and build it to be a true focal point, and to be safe beside seating and under cover.

Six ways to bring fire into the yard.
Every feature is custom, sized and detailed for your space, your stone, and how you gather.
Natural Stone Fire Features
Fire pits, fireplaces, and surrounds fabricated from natural stone, cut to size in our own studio for a one of a kind piece.
Modern Precast Fire Features
Clean, contemporary fire pits, tables, and surrounds in precast concrete for a modern, architectural look.
Gas Burner Fire Pits
Easy to start fire pits with gas burners and push-button ignition, instant clean flame with nothing to haul or clean up.
Standing Fireplaces
Freestanding outdoor fireplaces that anchor a patio or pavilion, with a proper firebox, flue, and chimney built to draw clean.
Fire Bowls
Sculptural stone and cast fire bowls that add flame and light to a corner, an entry, or the edge of the pool.
Fire Pit Areas and Seat Walls
Complete gathering areas with the fire pit, furniture layout, and built-in seat walls designed together as one outdoor room.
Fuel and Control
Wood-fired or gas, automated and safe.
The fuel you choose shapes how the feature looks, feels, and gets used. We help you choose, then engineer the gas, ignition, and clearances so it lights easily and runs safely.
Wood or Gas
Wood for the crackle, the smell, and the ritual. Gas for instant, clean, push-button fire. We build both and help you pick for how you actually live.
Ignition and Smart Control
Push-button and remote ignition, flame height control, and automation so the fire starts and stops the moment you want it.
Gas Lines, Clearances, and Code
Proper gas lines, clearances, and venting engineered to code so the feature is safe next to seating and under cover.
Critical Project Deliverables
Designed, engineered, and built in stone.
A complete, build ready package so the feature is right on paper before it is right in the yard.

Investment Protection
Financial Insurance for Your Fire Feature Investment
Moving a fireplace on screen costs nothing. Tearing out a chimney that smokes or a firebox that cracks costs many times more. Engineering the masonry, the gas, and the stone correctly the first time prevents the expensive problems before the footing is poured.
Engineered to Draw and Last
Fireboxes and chimneys built to draw clean and stand up to heat and weather for decades, not a kit that cracks in a few seasons.
Built Safe to Code
Gas, clearances, and venting engineered correctly so the feature is safe beside seating and under a covered structure.
One Accountable Team
Design, stonework, engineering, and construction under one plan, with one place to look when a question comes up.
Bidding Precision, Zero Surprises
Detailed plans and a named materials schedule give contractors something exact to bid against.
A Focal Point That Holds Value
A custom fire feature that anchors the yard for years, not an off the shelf piece that dates.
A look at our projects.
Capital Allocation
Investment expectations for custom fire features.
Custom fire feature projects begin at $20,000. Final pricing scales with type, the amount of masonry and custom stonework, and the fuel and automation specified, from a gas fire pit to a full stone fireplace.
As part of a larger outdoor living build that blends the fire feature with a patio, seating, and a covered structure, budgets scale upward from there based on the full scope.
Our Scope Determinants
- Feature type and size
- Wood or gas
- Custom stone and masonry
- Ignition and automation
- Gas line and utilities
- Integration with the patio, seating, and structure
Clear Answers
Frequently asked questions about fire features.
Wood or gas, which should I choose?
It comes down to how you want to use it. Wood gives you the crackle, the smell, and the ritual of a real fire. Gas gives you clean, instant flame at the push of a button with nothing to haul or clean up. We build both and walk you through the tradeoffs for your space and habits.
Can you run a gas line to the feature, or convert wood to gas?
Yes. We plan and route the gas line as part of the design, and in many cases we can add gas to an existing setup. We handle the utility and ignition side so it is done safely and to code.
Is a fireplace safe under a covered pavilion?
Yes, when it is engineered for it. The right firebox, flue, chimney height, and clearances let a fireplace live safely under a covered structure. We design that into the plan from the start.
Can you build a fire and water feature together?
Yes. Fire bowls and fire and water combinations are one of our favorite details, and our stone studio lets us build them as one integrated piece rather than two parts set near each other.
Can I use a fire feature year round?
Yes. A well placed fire feature is what makes the yard usable on cool spring and fall evenings and even mild winter nights, adding real months of use to the season.
Can I use my own builder with your design?
Yes. You can use our turnkey team and stone studio, or take our engineered design and materials schedule to your own qualified builder.
