Outdoor Lighting

The yard you built deserves to be seen after dark.

Path and spot lighting, tree uplighting, custom stone strip lighting, pool and water lighting, and shade structure and patio lighting, all drafted on a real plan and run from your phone. We lay the design out in 2D, tie in 3D night renders when you want to see it first, and spec professional grade fixtures so the whole property comes alive at night and stays safe and usable. Serving North Metro Atlanta as a full design build team, with design only options available.

After Dark

Most of the year, you see your yard at night.

Between work, dinner, and the seasons, you spend far more evenings outside than afternoons. That means the yard is seen most after dark, and good lighting is the difference between a property that disappears at sunset and one that looks its best.

The difference is not the number of lights. It is the design. We light in layers, uplight, downlight, path, and accent, control the glare, and aim every fixture by technique so the result has depth instead of hot spots and dark gaps.

Then we spec professional fixtures, size the transformers and wiring so nothing flickers or fails early, and put the whole system on a schedule and a dimmer you run from your phone.

The Layers

Six ways we light a property.

Every plan is custom, designed for your home, your landscape, and how you move through the property at night.

Path and Spot Lighting

Path lights along walks and steps, and spotlights to uplight trees, stone, and the architecture of the home.

Custom Stone Strip Lighting

LED strip lighting set into natural stone we cut to size in our own studio, so seat walls, steps, and feature walls glow from within.

Tree and Landscape Lighting

Uplighting that gives specimen trees drama, and moonlighting from above that casts a soft, natural glow across the yard.

Pool, Water, and Deck Lighting

Color and white LED built into pools, spas, and water features, plus deck and step lighting that reads off the surfaces.

Shade Structure and Patio Lighting

Pavilions, pergolas, kitchens, and patios lit for living, with the fixtures built into the structure.

Sports Court and Specialty Lighting

Court lighting for night play, plus security, entry, and lighting coordinated with your audio zones.

The Difference

Designed in layers, controlled from your phone.

The difference between professional lighting and lights stuck in the ground is design. We light in layers, control the glare, and put the whole system on a schedule and a dimmer.

Layered Lighting Design

Uplight, downlight, path, and accent layers worked together so the result has depth instead of hot spots and dark gaps.

Warm, Glare-Free Light

The right color temperature, shielded fixtures, and dimming so the light feels warm and natural and you never see the bulb.

Smart Control and Zones

App, timer, and astronomical clock control of lighting zones and brightness, coordinated with your audio zones where you want them, so the right scenes come on at the right time on their own.

Critical Project Deliverables

Designed, specified, and wired right.

A complete, build ready package so the lighting is right on paper before a fixture goes in the ground.

01

2D Lighting Plans and Night Renders

A full 2D lighting plan that maps every fixture and run, tied into 3D night renders on request so you see how the property reads after dark before a fixture goes in.

02

Professional Fixture Schedule

Brass and copper fixtures specified by name, chosen to patina and last rather than corrode.

03

Technique and Layout Plan

Every fixture placed and aimed by technique, uplight, downlight, graze, or path, not guesswork.

04

Transformer and Wiring Plan

Properly sized transformers and runs so there is no voltage drop, flicker, or early failure.

05

Smart Control and Zoning

Zones, dimming, and schedule set up and handed off so the system runs itself.

06

Hardscape and Pool Integration

Lighting built into steps, walls, pool, and structure so the fixtures disappear and only the light shows.

Investment Protection

Financial Insurance for Your Lighting Investment

Cheap fixtures and undersized wiring are why most lighting looks tired and half dark within a few years. Designing the layers and specifying the right hardware from the start is what keeps a system beautiful and reliable for decades.

Fixtures That Last in Brass

Professional brass and copper fixtures that patina and last for decades, not cheap aluminum that corrodes and fails in a few seasons.

Wired and Sized Right

Correctly sized transformers and runs so the system runs cool, even, and reliable instead of flickering and failing.

One Accountable Team

Design, fixtures, wiring, and control under one plan, with one place to look when a question comes up.

Bidding Precision, Zero Surprises

Detailed plans and a named fixture schedule give contractors something exact to bid against.

Safety, Security, and Value

A well lit property is safer, more secure, and shows better, adding real value and curb appeal.

The work

A look at our projects.

Capital Allocation

Investment expectations for custom lighting.

Custom outdoor lighting projects begin at $10,000. Final pricing scales with the size of the property, the number and type of fixtures, the techniques used, and the level of smart control, from a focused front entry and tree package to a full property design.

As part of a larger outdoor living build, lighting is designed alongside the hardscape, pool, and structures so the fixtures and wiring are planned in rather than added on.

Our Scope Determinants

Clear Answers

Frequently asked questions about outdoor lighting.

Can you add lighting to my existing landscape?

Yes. Most of our lighting work can be designed into a finished landscape. We lay out and aim the fixtures, run the wiring cleanly, and tie it into a transformer and control system without tearing up the yard.

Are the fixtures LED?

Yes. We use low voltage LED throughout, which is efficient, runs cool, and lasts for years, with warm color temperatures chosen so the light looks natural rather than blue or harsh.

Why brass fixtures instead of cheaper ones?

Brass and copper patina and last for decades outdoors. The inexpensive aluminum and plastic fixtures sold at big box stores corrode, fade, and fail within a few seasons, which is why so much lighting looks tired so fast.

Can I control the lighting from my phone?

Yes. We can set up app, timer, and astronomical clock control so zones and brightness adjust on a schedule, and you can change anything from your phone.

Will the lighting look harsh, like a runway?

No. The whole point of layered design is the opposite. Warm color, shielded fixtures, dimming, and a mix of techniques give you a soft, natural result with no glare and no rows of identical bright dots.

Can I use my own builder or electrician with your design?

Yes. You can use our turnkey team, or take our lighting design and fixture schedule to your own qualified installer.
