Jesse House is the founder of Daydream Design and Build, an outdoor living design-build firm in Calhoun, Georgia. He is a licensed Georgia residential general contractor (License RBQA008500), a GSWCC Level II Certified Design Professional, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. He has built outdoor spaces in the Atlanta and North Georgia area since 2017.
From maintaining yards to building places that last
Jesse started in the simplest part of the work. In 2017 he founded his practice in Calhoun, Georgia, doing landscape maintenance and enhancements, the weekly, hands-on work of keeping properties healthy and sharp. That ground-level start shaped everything that came after, because it taught him how outdoor spaces actually live, drain, wear, and age over years rather than how they look on the day they are finished.
Over time the work grew. Maintenance became enhancement, enhancement became design, and design became full design-build: outdoor living and pool construction handled under one roof. Along the way he brought in the tools and credentials that the more serious work demands, and eventually the part that sets the firm apart now, sourcing European limestone direct from the quarry and fabricating it cut to size in-house through the Stone Atelier.
The thread running through all of it is a refusal to hand off the parts that matter. The same instinct that made him learn the maintenance side first is why Daydream owns the chain from the stone to the finished space today.
