Water Features
Moving water changes the way a space feels.
Natural swimming ponds, pondless waterfalls, koi ponds, fountains, stone spillways, and pool water features, each one designed and engineered to run clean and last. We bring sound, movement, and reflection to the yard, with custom stone cut to size in our own studio so the feature looks carved from the site rather than dropped onto it. Serving North Metro Atlanta as a full design build team, with design only options available.
Request a Design ConsultationSight, Sound, Stillness
The one feature people remember after they leave.
Water draws the eye and the ear. It masks road noise, cools the air on a hot afternoon, and gives the whole yard a center to settle around. Of every element we build, it is the one guests tend to remember.
The difference between a feature that feels alive and one that feels fake is in how it is designed and built, the way the water moves, the sound it makes, and whether it stays clear. We engineer the circulation and filtration you never see and cut the stone in house so the visible part looks like it has always been there.
Whether you want a quiet pondless cascade or a full stone grotto, we design and build it to look natural and to run clean for years.

Six ways to bring water into the yard.
Every feature is custom, designed for your site, your stone, and the sound you want to live with.
Natural Swimming Ponds
Chemical free swimming in a living, planted pond filtered by nature instead of chlorine. A true blend of pool and landscape that swims clean and looks like it belongs to the site.
Pool Water Features
Sheer descent waterfalls, scuppers, deck jets, and laminar streams built into the pool itself for sound and motion at the water's edge.
Natural Waterfalls and Cascades
Recirculating falls and streams over natural stone, available pondless over a hidden basin for the full sound of water with little to maintain.
Fountains, Urns, and Bubblers
Formal and sculptural fountains, bubbling urns, spill bowls, and gentle bubblers that anchor a courtyard, entry, or shallow splash area.
Koi and Natural Ponds
Living ponds built with the right depth, filtration, and planting to keep koi healthy and the water clear.
Stone Water Walls and Grottos
Custom stone water walls, sheeting spillways, and grotto features cut and built in our own stone studio.
Beneath The Surface
Engineered to run clean, quiet, and low maintenance.
The reason most water features disappoint is not the design, it is what sits underneath. We engineer the parts you never see so the water stays clear and the feature stays easy to own.
Circulation and Filtration
Correctly sized pumps and filtration matched to the water volume, so the flow looks natural and the water stays clear instead of going green.
Auto-Fill and Smart Control
Automatic water leveling plus app or timer control of pumps and lights, so the feature largely runs itself.
Lighting and Winterization
Integrated LED lighting for night, and a system designed to shut down and protect itself through a Georgia winter.
Critical Project Deliverables
Designed, engineered, and built in stone.
A complete, build ready package so the feature is right on paper before it is right in the yard.

04
Materials and Finishes Schedule
Stone, basin, and finishes specified by name so bids are exact and the look is locked.
05
Lighting and Automation
LED lighting, smart controls, and auto-fill planned in from the start.
06
Landscape and Pool Integration
The feature tied into your pool, grade, drainage, and planting so it reads as part of the site.
Investment Protection
Financial Insurance for Your Water Feature Investment
Adjusting a cascade on screen costs nothing. Rebuilding a feature that runs cloudy or leaks costs many times more. Engineering the water and the stone correctly the first time prevents the expensive problems before the basin is dug.
Engineered for Clear Water
Sizing and filtration done right from the start, so you are not fighting algae and cloudy water season after season.
Built to Last in Stone
Natural stone construction that ages into the landscape instead of cracking or fading the way cast alternatives do.
One Accountable Team
Design, stonework, engineering, and construction under one plan, with one place to look when a question comes up.
Bidding Precision, Zero Surprises
Detailed plans and a named materials schedule give contractors something exact to bid against.
A Focal Point That Holds Value
A custom feature that defines the property for years, not a kit fountain that dates in a season.
A look at our projects.
Capital Allocation
Investment expectations for custom water features.
Custom water feature projects begin at $40,000. Final pricing scales with size, the amount of custom stonework, and the systems specified, from a simple pondless cascade to a full stone grotto or a built in koi pond.
As part of a larger outdoor living build that blends the feature with a pool, patio, and the surrounding landscape, budgets scale upward from there based on the full scope.
Our Scope Determinants
- Feature type and size
- Volume of moving water
- Custom stone fabrication
- Filtration and circulation systems
- Lighting and automation
- Integration with the pool, grade, and landscape
Clear Answers
Frequently asked questions about water features.
How much maintenance does a water feature need?
Less than most people expect when it is engineered correctly. Proper filtration, auto-fill, and circulation do most of the work. A pondless cascade is the lowest maintenance option, while a koi pond asks a little more attention in exchange for the living display.
Will a water feature attract mosquitoes?
No, when it is built to keep water moving and filtered. Mosquitoes breed in still, standing water. A feature with constant circulation and proper filtration does the opposite.
Can you add a water feature to my existing pool?
In many cases, yes. Sheer descents, scuppers, bubblers, and deck jets can often be added to an existing pool depending on its construction and equipment. We assess what your pool can support before recommending an approach.
Can you build a koi pond that actually stays clear?
Yes. Clear, healthy koi water comes from the right depth, filtration, and biological balance, all of which we design in from the start rather than bolting on afterward.
Can you build a natural swimming pond?
Yes. A natural swimming pond keeps the water clean for swimming without chlorine, using a planted regeneration zone and biological filtration. We design the swimming area, the filtration planting, and the circulation together so it stays clear and swims comfortably while looking like part of the landscape.
What happens to a water feature in winter?
We design each feature to shut down and protect itself for the season. Pondless features and ponds are handled differently, and we set yours up so winter is a simple, safe routine.
Can I use my own builder with your design?
Yes. You can use our turnkey team and stone studio, or take our engineered design and materials schedule to your own qualified builder.
